The Goods: Live Hard, Sell Hard

The film didn't do well in the theaters. Unfortunate, because this fast-moving slick-tongued comedy is surprisingly funny. From actor Jeremy Piven, playing a more boisterious and less shaven form of Entourage╒s Ari Gold, to Ving Rhames, David Koechner, Kathryn Hahn and Jordana Spiro, this cast seems perfectly positioned to take advantage of their main strengths. With a couple of cameos by Craig Robinson and Will Ferrell, this movie is nothing less than ridiculously funny. The movie itself takes an average small town car dealership and throws in the need to clear the lot in three days at the risk of being sold. A boring concept. But throw in some insanely ridiculous situations, raucous jokes and other things that make you question how the writers were entertaining themselves and you have 90 solid minutes of fun. Be careful though, this one is purely mindless entertainment.
